Operations Engineer

Golden Gekko Ltd. is currently recruiting a Operations Engineer. Candidates should have a proven background in medium to large scale IT operations.

Experience of operations of a Debian web server environment including redundancy, load balancing, updates and maintenance is mandatory as well as documented experience of maintaining both hardware and software in a mixed linux/MS workstation environment.

The role involves setup and maintenance work in GG hosting environments, development servers and workstations as well as being an active member of the operations team, which owns all service level agreements, provide service statistics to customers and maintain all IT systems in use at GG. The work should be performed under the direction of the Operations Manager.
