Golden Gekko development partner for Vodafone 360

In the end of October Vodafone launched the Vodafone 360 app store for 300+ million Vodafone customers worldwide with applications based on JIL open standards. JIL which is a partnership for mobile widgets between Vodafone, Verizon Wireless, China Mobile and Softbank with the potential of reaching over a 1 Bn customers in the next couple of years. Initially the focus will be on two new handsets from Samsung as well as most existing Symbian handsets but overtime JIL will be rolled out across more and more handsets to reach all customers. The platform provides very similar features to the iPhone in terms of user experience and capabilities.

Golden Gekko is one of the selected key development partners for Vodafone Group and since August Golden Gekko has developed more than 15 applications for the Vodafone 360 platform including
